Credits are the currency used for AI processing:- Creating a karaoke costs credits
- Cloud video exports use credits; local exports are free in Desktop and Web + Extension
- Manual editing is free
- Playing from your library is free
How Many Credits per Karaoke?
A typical karaoke costs 5-10 credits depending on:- Song duration (longer = more credits)
- Lyrics mode (transcription costs more than alignment)
- AI model selected (premium models cost more)
What Uses Credits

Checking Your Balance
Your credit balance appears:- In the header (top right)
- Before creating a karaoke
- In the credits dialog
- Total available credits
- Credit packages and expiration dates
- Option to buy more
Credit Expiration
- Monthly subscription credits expire after 2 months
- Annual subscription credits expire after 1 year
- Credit pack credits expire after 1 year
What Happens When You Run Out
If you don’t have enough credits:- You’ll see a notification before creating
- A dialog prompts you to buy more
- You can still access and edit existing karaokes
Getting More Credits
Ways to get credits:- Free trial — 15 credits when you sign up (3 karaokes)
- Subscription — Monthly or annual plans
- Credit packs — One-time purchases
Failed Processing
If karaoke creation fails for any reason:- Your credits are automatically refunded
- You’ll see a notification about the refund
- Try again or contact support
