Youka Live

Youka Live is a native macOS menu-bar app that continuously separates audio playing on your Mac into four stems: Vocals, Drums, Bass, and Other. Mute a stem or change its level while listening—without uploading the song or preparing a project first.

What you can do

• Mute or lower vocals for karaoke and song practice
• Isolate drums or bass while learning a part
• Change the mix from audio playing in a browser, music player, or another Mac app
• Turn on Live without choosing a mode or model; Youka Live checks reliability automatically
• Process music locally after activation so normal playback does not upload your audio

Youka Live introduces a short playback buffer while it separates the music. The current model adds approximately three seconds of delay, so the app is designed for continuous listening, rehearsal, and karaoke—not zero-latency stage monitoring. When you turn on Live, the original system audio becomes silent while the app checks reliability and prepares a synchronized separated stream. Green Ready means the route is healthy and waiting for source audio; blue Buffering means source audio is present and separated output is being prepared. If a terminal processing or route failure occurs, Youka Live switches itself off and restores normal system audio. Turn off Live at any time to do the same.
