Fine-tuning the trim
For frame-accurate edits:- Enter exact timestamps in the Start and End input fields
- Use the waveform to align with audio peaks
- The selected region stays highlighted while you adjust
What gets trimmed
Trimming creates new copies of:- The video file
- All audio stems (vocals, instrumental, backing vocals)
- The original audio
- The lyrics alignment, re-timed to match the new start
The original files are preserved. You can always delete the trimmed version
and try a different region.
Tips
- Preview before committing to confirm the cut lands where you expect
- Use trim to remove long intros, outros, or unwanted middle sections
- Check the Jobs tab for trimming progress on long songs
