Duet mode lets you assign each line to a specific singer so the display highlights the right person at the right time.

Steps to set up a duet

Open the project

Open the karaoke project you want to edit.

Open the Duet Editor

Go to Edit > Duet Editor.

Assign each line to a singer

For every line, click the radio button for the singer who should sing it.

Singer options

  • Singer 1 — first singer’s lines
  • Singer 2 — second singer’s lines
  • All — lines sung together (choruses, harmonies)
  • Add more singers from the toolbar if the song needs them

Working in the Duet Editor

  • Click the play button next to any line to preview just that line
  • Use the line checkbox to toggle vocals on or off for individual lines
  • Scroll through the whole song to confirm every line is assigned before exporting

Tips for a great duet

  • Assign call-and-response sections to alternating singers
  • Use All for choruses and harmonies sung together
  • Preview each line before exporting to catch any missed assignments
