Some split models keep backing vocals (choirs, harmonies) separate from lead vocals. This lets you sing the main part while the harmonies still play in the background.

Mixing in the player

When backing vocals are available, use the player’s volume controls to balance:
  • Lead vocals
  • Backing vocals
  • Instrumental

Tips

  • Backing vocals add richness to the final mix — perfect for performances
  • Lower the backing vocal volume slightly during practice if the harmonies distract you
  • Not every song has distinguishable backing vocals; solo tracks may give an empty backing stem
