Lyrics sync issues fall into three common buckets. Pick the scenario that matches your problem.

Scenario 1: Lyrics are wrong or way off

Use this when the text itself is incorrect or the timing is completely off.
1

Open the lyrics editor

Go to Edit > Edit Lyrics.
2

Fix the text

Replace the incorrect lyrics with the correct ones.
3

Pick an alignment model

Select Audioshake Alignment or MusicAI Alignment from the model dropdown.
4

Re-sync

Click Save to start a fresh sync job.
If you don’t have the lyrics at all, pick Audioshake Transcription (English) or MusicAI Transcription (non-English) instead. Youka will detect and sync the lyrics from the audio automatically.

Scenario 2: Timing is slightly off

Use this when the words are right but a few lines lag or land early.
1

Open Manual Sync

Go to Edit > Manual Sync.
2

Select the misaligned words or lines

Click to highlight what needs adjustment.
3

Drag to fix timing

Drag the selection on the timeline, using the audio waveform as your guide.

Scenario 3: Lines drift further and further apart

Use this when lyrics start in sync but progressively fall behind (or ahead).
1

Open Manual Sync

Go to Edit > Manual Sync.
2

Nudge a group of lines

Select the drifted lines and press Shift + ← or Shift + → to shift their timing.
3

Move lines to a new position (if needed)

Press Ctrl+X (or Cmd+X) to cut, seek to the new timestamp, then Ctrl+V / Cmd+V to paste.
