Youka stores every project in a single folder on disk. Copy that folder to a new computer and tell Youka where it lives.

Steps to transfer

1

Find the library folder

On the old computer, open Settings and copy the path shown next to Library Folder.
2

Copy the folder

Copy the entire library folder to an external drive or network share.
3

Install Youka on the new computer

Download and install Youka on the new machine.
4

Replace the default library folder

On the new computer, replace the default library folder with the folder you copied over.
5

Reindex the library

In Settings, click Reindex Library and wait for the loading indicator to disappear.
Reindex rebuilds Youka’s internal cache. It doesn’t touch your project files, so the process is safe to repeat if anything goes wrong.
Your projects should now appear in the Library tab exactly as they did on the old machine.
