Local export renders your karaoke video on your computer instead of Youka’s cloud servers. It is completely free, with no credit cost and no limit on how many exports you run.
Local export requires the Youka Extension installed and connected. See Youka Extension for installation instructions.

Export locally

1

Open your project in Studio

Open the project you want to export from the home page or Projects.
2

Click Export

Click the Export button in the top-right corner of the Studio.
3

Select Local Export

In the export dialog, choose the Local Export option. This option only appears when the Youka Extension is installed and connected.
4

Choose your settings

Select your resolution (720p, 1080p, 4K), quality (Low, Average, High), and any other options such as transparent background.
5

Click Start Export

Click Start Export. The Youka Extension begins rendering the video on your computer.
6

Find your file

When rendering finishes, the video file is saved to your computer. The extension shows you the output location.

Export performance

Local export speed depends entirely on your hardware:
  • CPU/GPU — A faster processor or dedicated graphics card renders significantly quicker.
  • Video length — Longer songs take more time.
  • Resolution and quality — Higher settings require more processing.
If exports are taking too long, try a lower resolution (720p) or reduce quality to Average or Low. The difference is often hard to notice at normal viewing distances.

Why use local export?

  • No credits — Run as many exports as you want without spending anything.
  • Your files stay local — The rendered video never leaves your machine.
  • Full control — Choose exactly where the file is saved.
  • Transparent background — The ProRes 4444 transparent background option is available for local exports too.
