Audio stems are the individual audio tracks that Youka’s AI separates from your song. Instead of exporting a combined video, you can download each track on its own as a high-quality audio file.

Available stems

InstrumentalThe full music track with vocals removed
VocalsThe isolated lead vocal track
Backing VocalsBackground singers, when the AI detects and separates them
Backing Vocals is only available when the AI successfully separates background singers from the lead vocal. Not all songs include this stem.

Download your stems

Open your project in Studio

Open the project whose audio tracks you want to download.

Open the Export dialog

Click Export in the top-right corner of the Studio.

Switch to the Audio tab

In the export dialog, click the Audio tab.

Download the stems you need

Click the Download button next to any stem — Instrumental, Vocals, or Backing Vocals — to save that track to your device.
You can download any combination of stems. Each one saves as a separate high-quality audio file.

Use cases

  • Remixing — Use the instrumental stem as a base for a new arrangement or remix.
  • Practice tracks — Sing along to the instrumental without any vocal guidance, or listen to the isolated vocal for pitch reference.
  • DJ sets — Drop the clean instrumental into a live set or mashup.
  • Vocal production — Use the isolated vocals as a sample or for further processing in a DAW.
