Youka Live does not receive audio
- Open System Settings → Privacy & Security → Screen & System Audio Recording.
- Enable Youka Live.
- Quit and reopen Youka Live if macOS asks you to restart it.
- Play audio in another app and turn on Live again.
Audio becomes silent after turning on Live
This is expected while Youka Live starts. The app mutes the original system audio first, then runs an internal reliability check. Green Ready means the route is working but no source audio needs processing. When source audio arrives, blue Buffering prepares synchronized separated audio. Keep the source playing until the menu changes to green Live. If calibration or processing fails, Youka Live switches itself off and restores normal system audio. Select Try Again after closing other demanding apps or correcting the audio output problem. The separated audio is delayed
Some delay is expected. Youka Live must collect enough audio for separation and a stable playback buffer before it can output separated stems. The current separation profile adds approximately three seconds. Youka Live chooses the separation profile automatically. It is not intended for zero-latency stage monitoring.Live needs attention while preparing or playing
Youka Live measures separation performance with an internal signal when it is enabled, then continuously watches inference deadlines, input backlog, output lead, and separation errors. If the Mac cannot keep up reliably, Youka Live stops separated playback instead of allowing a growing delay or repeated interruptions. When this happens, the Live switch turns off and normal system audio returns. Close other demanding apps and select Try Again. The new attempt runs the reliability check again under the current system load. If the same message returns under a normal workload, include your Mac model and the exact message when contacting support. The activation request expired
Activation requests normally last ten minutes. Return to Set Up Youka Live and select Continue in Browser again. Approve the computer in your browser, then select Return to Youka Live. If you buy another license from a device-limit screen, Youka keeps that activation request available while its checkout is open. The browser says the device limit was reached
A personal license supports two active computers. Deactivate a computer you no longer use under Manage Youka Live license, or select Buy another license for $79 on the activation page. After payment finishes, the same activation request resumes automatically.A purchase or model upgrade is not appearing
On the completed checkout page, select Open Youka Live. If you already returned to the app, keep it connected to the internet and select Refresh License. Make sure you purchased with the same Youka account used to approve the Mac. Stripe may briefly show the payment as processing. Wait a moment and refresh again. You do not need to select the upgraded model manually; Youka Live loads the newest model generation included with the personal license assigned to that computer. The app says “License unavailable”
- Confirm that the Mac can reach
online.youka.io. - Select Try Again.
- If this is the first activation, return to setup, select Continue in Browser, and complete browser approval.
- If the app was reinstalled, sign in with the account that owns the license and activate the Mac again.
