Youka Live uses one-time purchases rather than a subscription.

How trial time works

  • The 30-minute allowance belongs to your Youka account and is shared by its activated computers.
  • Time decreases only while separated audio is successfully Live. Setup, warm-up, recovery, errors, and Live-off time do not count.
  • You can use the remaining allowance offline. The app saves usage locally and synchronizes it when a connection is available.
  • Reinstalling or activating another Mac does not reset the allowance.
  • At zero, Youka Live switches Live off and restores normal system audio. It does not add noise or mute your Mac.

Buy a personal license

At any point during the trial, select Buy for $79. After the allowance is used, select Buy Youka Live — $79. You can also open Manage Youka Live license, sign in with the account used for activation, and purchase through Stripe Checkout. Each checkout buys one personal license with two computer activations. To use Youka Live on more computers, select Buy another license for $79. Additional licenses appear separately on the management page, with their own activated computers and AI model generation. After payment finishes processing, select Open Youka Live on the confirmation page. Returning to the app also triggers a silent refresh; use Refresh License if the purchase still does not appear. Your personal license does not expire. After it has been activated and stored on a computer, normal playback processing can continue offline. Internet access is still required for first activation, syncing a purchase or upgrade, managing devices, and downloading updates.

Activate another computer

A personal license supports up to two active computers in total across supported versions of macOS and Windows.
  1. Install Youka Live on the other computer.
  2. In Set Up Youka Live, select Continue in Browser under Computer Activation.
  3. Sign in with the account that owns the license.
  4. If the account owns several licenses, choose the license that should contain this computer.
  5. Approve the computer, then select Return to Youka Live in the browser.
  6. Complete System Audio Access, then select Open Youka Live.
Activation requests expire after ten minutes. If the browser says the request expired, return to setup and select Continue in Browser again.

Free a device slot

Open Manage Youka Live license, find the computer under its personal license, and select Deactivate. This immediately frees that license’s slot so you can activate another computer. Deactivation cannot erase a personal license already stored on a computer that remains permanently offline. If you still have the old computer, connect it to the internet and refresh its license before transferring access.

How model upgrades work

You do not choose a mode or AI model inside the app. Youka Live presents one Live Separation experience and automatically uses a separation profile included with your license only after confirming that it runs reliably on the current Mac. Youka Live automatically uses the newest model generation included with the personal license assigned to that computer:
  • If you do not buy an optional major upgrade, that personal license keeps using its last included model.
  • If you buy the upgrade, the newest included generation becomes available to both computers on that personal license after their licenses refresh.
  • Other personal licenses on the account keep their existing model generation unless you upgrade them separately.
  • Minor app fixes and ordinary updates do not require choosing a model.
When an upgrade is available, open Manage in Youka Live, find the personal license to upgrade, and select Upgrade to the latest model. After checkout finishes processing, select Open Youka Live. If Live is running, the app keeps the current model for that session and uses the new generation the next time Live starts.
