Youka Desktop brings the complete Youka Online experience to an installed app and adds three practical benefits: Create from URL, Free export, and Offline playback.
Looking for the previous application? Open the Youka Desktop Legacy documentation.

Install Youka Desktop

  1. Open the Youka Desktop download page.
  2. Choose Windows, macOS, or Ubuntu / Debian.
  3. Install and open Youka Desktop.
  4. Sign in with the account you use for Youka Online.
The Windows installer is currently unsigned, so Microsoft Defender SmartScreen may identify it as an unrecognized app. If you downloaded it from www.youka.io, choose More info, then Run anyway to continue.
Youka Desktop and Youka Desktop Legacy install side by side. Installing the new app does not migrate or delete Legacy projects.

Start using Desktop

1

Open Library

Your Online Library opens in the Desktop app after you sign in.
2

Create from a URL

Paste a supported public video URL directly into Desktop. Follow Create karaoke from a URL.
3

Create and edit

Use the same creation and Studio workflows documented under Youka Online.
4

Export on your computer

Choose Local Export to save the finished video without export credits. Follow Export a finished video for free.
5

Choose what stays offline

For each finished karaoke you want saved, choose Make available offline. Follow Play selected karaoke videos offline.

What is available offline

Offline access applies only to finished karaoke videos you explicitly save on this computer. Desktop does not download your whole Library automatically. Projects, source media, stems, editor settings, creation, and AI processing still require an internet connection.
