# Save Different Versions

> Create variations of your karaoke project

Versions let you save different edits of the same project, like a "Radio Edit" or "Extended Mix."

## What Are Versions?

Each version is a separate set of settings for your karaoke:

* Same song and lyrics
* Different styling, trimming, or timing
* Export each version separately

## Why Use Versions?

Common uses:

* **Radio Edit** — Shortened version for radio play
* **Full Version** — Complete song with full intro/outro
* **TV Version** — Different aspect ratio or styling
* **Practice Version** — With vocals included
* **Different Languages** — Same song, different language lyrics

## Creating a New Version

1. Open your project in the Studio
2. Go to the **Versions** panel (sidebar)
3. Click **New Version**
4. Enter a name for the version
5. Click **Create Version**

The new version starts as a copy of your current settings.

2. The Studio loads that version's settings
3. The current version is marked with a badge

2. Click the edit icon
3. Enter the new name
4. Press Enter or click away

Note: You must keep at least one version.

## Exporting Specific Versions

1. Switch to the version you want to export
2. Click **Export**
3. The export uses that version's settings

## Tips

* Name versions clearly to avoid confusion
* Start with your main version, then create variations
* Use versions for A/B testing different styles
* Keep the "Original" version as a backup before major changes
