# Style Each Singer Differently

> Give each singer in a duet their own colors and fonts

Assign different styles to each singer so the audience can tell at a glance who should sing which line.

## Two steps

First you tell Youka which lines belong to which singer, then you pick a style for each singer.

### 1. Assign singers to each line

<Steps>

    Go to **Edit > Duet Editor**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Set the number of singers">
    Adjust the singer count to match the song.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Assign each line">
    Pick which singer is responsible for every line.
  </Step>
</Steps>

### 2. Pick a style for each singer

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open Style Mapping">
    Go to **Edit > Style Mapping**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Assign a style per singer">
    For each singer, choose a style from the dropdown.
  </Step>

  <Step title="(Optional) Set as default">
    Mark the assignment as default to reuse it on future songs. Otherwise the mapping only affects the current project.
  </Step>
