# Keep the Original Vocals

> Retain the singer's vocals on specific lines

By default, Youka strips all vocals from a karaoke track. If you want the original singer to remain audible on certain lines (for example, tricky harmonies or a bridge), use the Duet Editor to keep their vocals in place.

## Steps

    Go to **Edit > Duet Editor**.

  <Step title="Choose who to keep">
    In the **Keep Singer Vocals** section, pick one of the options below.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Save">
    Click **Save** to apply.
  </Step>

## Keep Singer Vocals options

* **Singer 1** — keep vocals for Singer 1 only
* **Singer 2** — keep vocals for Singer 2 only
* **All** — keep vocals for every singer
* **Custom** — manually pick the lines where the original vocals stay
