## Background types

* **Video** — use the original video or upload a new MP4, WebM, or similar
* **Image** — upload a static image (PNG, JPG)
* **Color** — pick a solid color

## Background settings

Below the Background section you can fine-tune:

* **Blur** — soften the background to make lyrics pop
* **Brightness** — darken or lighten the background
* **Loop** — either loop the video or freeze on the last frame

<Warning>
  Changing the background only replaces the visuals. The audio stems (instrumental, vocals) stay from the original karaoke. To use different audio, go to **Audio > Import Stems** and import your new tracks separately.
</Warning>

## Tips for great backgrounds

* Use 1080p or higher source media
* Pick visuals that don't compete with the lyrics
* Abstract or slow-moving scenes read best
* Darker backgrounds make light-colored text easier to read
