# Center Subtitles

> Position lyrics in the middle of the screen

The Style Editor controls where lyrics appear on screen. Use the layout presets for quick placement, or adjust X/Y values for precise control.

## Steps to center subtitles

    Open the karaoke project you want to edit.

  <Step title="Open the Style Editor">
    Go to **Edit > Style Editor**.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Find the Layout section">
    Scroll to the **Layout** settings.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Click Center">
    Click the **Center** preset button to move subtitles to the middle of the screen.
  </Step>

## Position presets

* **Top** — lyrics appear at the top
* **Center** — lyrics appear in the middle
* **Bottom** — lyrics appear at the bottom (default)

## Fine-tuning position

For precise placement:

* Adjust the **X** value to move horizontally
* Adjust the **Y** value to move vertically
* Changes update in real time in the preview panel

## Per-singer positioning

In duet projects you can position each singer separately:

* Pick which singer to configure (**Singer 1**, **Singer 2**, or **All**)
* Adjust positions for each singer independently
* Enable **Duet Split** to put singers in different areas of the screen

## Tips

* Bottom-center is the standard karaoke position
* Move lyrics to the top if the video has action at the bottom
* Preview on the target display size to confirm readability
